SAP CPI Consultant

We are looking for a skilled and experienced SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions using SAP CPI to connect various SAP and non-SAP systems within our organization. This role requires a deep understanding of integration patterns, protocols, and best practices to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Integration Design and Development:
   • Design and develop integration scenarios using SAP CPI.
   • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather integration requirements.
   • Create and maintain integration flows, mappings, and transformations.
2. System Configuration and Maintenance:
   • Configure and deploy integration content in SAP CPI.
   • Monitor and maintain integration interfaces to ensure optimal performance.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues promptly.
3. Support and Troubleshooting:
   • Provide day-to-day support for integration-related issues.
   • Debug and resolve technical problems in integration scenarios.
   • Work with other IT teams to resolve system integration issues.
4. Testing and Quality Assurance:
   • Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure integration solutions meet requirements.
   • Validate integration processes and data integrity.
   • Participate in end-to-end testing with external systems.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
   • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes and configurations.
   • Generate reports on integration performance and issues.
   • Provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders.
6. Continuous Improvement:
   • Identify opportunities for improving integration processes and solutions.
   • Stay updated with the latest SAP CPI features and best practices.
   • Propose and implement enhancements to existing integrations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. SAP CPI certification or relevant SAP integration certification is preferred.
3. 6 years of experience in SAP CPI development and support.
4. Strong understanding of integration concepts, patterns, and protocols (e.g., SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP).
5. Proficiency in Groovy scripting and XML/XSLT.
6. Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, and SAP SuccessFactors integrations.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with other SAP integration tools such as SAP PI/PO.
2. Knowledge of API management and cloud-based integration platforms.
3. Understanding of security protocols and data encryption techniques in integration.
